Wednesday 4th December, 5pm to 8pm – The Terrace
The Ocean Grove Business Association with limited funds and a band of volunteers closes the main street to have a Christmas in the Grove to attract locals and tourists to the town. The dream is to make it a great community event with bands, buskers, entertainment and a giant street party.
The key being a giant table down the street where all can sit and share food and drink to make it a great community celebration.
We want to use local artists, food providers and business to help generate interest and make it a positive community experience for all ages.
This will bring all aspects of the Ocean Grove community together including local musicians, food providers, artists, community groups in a celebration in a fun and inclusive way. The idea of having a giant table down The Terrace in Ocean Grove where all can sit and share food and drink and just enjoy the entertainment but also interact with each other has been a dream for some time. Too many local communities do not know their neighbours and this is hopefully a way to get as many involved as possible.
